Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Tool Administrator
Location: TechnipFMC โ Rome Operating Center
Short Job Summary:
Works in conjunction with other Departments (like Process, Planning, Engineering, Construction, โฆ.) to:
ยท Create the Project Set up.
ยท Set up maintenance & improvement of engineering tools in coordination with IT department.
ยท Trouble shoot day by day's bottlenecks.
ยท Coordinate teams of Tool Administrator for complex job in a complex geographical distribution
ยท Define and maintain administration and setup procedures
Reporting Line:
Hierarchically reports to: Project Information Management Section Head (IT Dept.)
Operationally reports to: Group Leader / Project Manager / Project Engineering Manager.
Directly supervises (operationally): Tool Administration, Support, Key User.
Key interactions (internally, externally):
Internally: All engineering disciplines and sites, IT project engineer, other IT disciplines
Externally: partners in case of JV, client's data base requirements.
The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
ยท Accountability for the engineering IT tools activities of the specific project(s).
ยท Dedicated to one or more discipline.
ยท Ensures the Set Up of the engineering tools for the project(s) according to the contract requirements and Technip standards.
ยท Ensures timely maintenance and update of the engineering data base and tools.
ยท Ensures operational support of the engineering group in the use of the tools.
ยท Interfaces with other engineering tool administrators of other discipline
ยท Ensure the correct workflow of information of the tool and the ecosystem of Project IT Platform
ยท Ensure the correct sequence of in /out data and relative interface with other tools
ยท Ensure the correct usage of the tool by users
ยท Ensure the correct level of Standardization and relative Company Procedure for the governance/evolution of the tool.
ยท Serve as a technical consultant within area of expertise.
ยท Makes formal presentations to the Customer or Company Management.
ยท Research, analyze, and organize statistics or other technical materials for specific occasions or on a scheduled basis.
ยท Keeps well informed on current technology applicable to area of expertise.
ยท Write and/or review articles written by others for publication in professional journals or for presentation at technical conferences.
ยท Completes additional responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements:
Must have:
ยท Technical diploma or Engineer degree more than 2 years of experience
ยท 2 years (or more) of experience in Engineering Tool Software (2D, and/or 3D, and/or Integration Software from software house like Autodesk, Aveva Bentley, Hexagon).
ยท Ability to work effectively in teams.
ยท Knowledge of English language.
Nice to have:
ยท Experience in one engineering discipline.
ยท Knowledge of Autodesk and/or Aveva, and/or PPM Hexagon (Intergraph PPM), and/or Bentley software.
ยท Knowledge of some auxiliary software (SQL, MS Access, Dot Net, VB).
ยท Knowledge of French language.
