Job description
Provide layout, design, and detailing of engineering drawings using Computer Aided Design system. Works from sketches, verbal discussions, reference drawings, manufacturers specifications, customer specifications, applicable codes and industry standards. Maintain the Electrical electronic database. Maintain a high level of uniformity between projects. Conduct training for CAD designers. Provide hardware and software support as needed.
Develop and maintain discipline database to ensure that consistency is maintained in drawing packages. As new equipment and techniques are developed, ensure those are accurately reflected in the database.
Keep detailed records of daily work and provide weekly time sheet. Ensure labor is charged correctly and accurately. Manage time to ensure maximum productivity.
