Mission and responsibilities

As a reinforced concrete designer and steel frame, you will be in charge of designing and executing plans for a building project. With the help of calculation notes and sketches provided by the engineers, you will draw the drawings of concrete (formwork and reinforcement) or of frame as well as the follow-up of the quantities. You will report to the group leader or the engineer who will supervise you as part of a project. These prerogatives in design or execution design phase may also extend to site monitoring.

Depending on the technical and budgetary requirements you will need to:
- Draw architecture drawings, concrete structure and metal framework and mass plans in a 2D software
- Draw the different elements in the 3D model with the appropriate settings
- Reading a specification and interpreting the data related to the works to make the design
- Develop constructive solutions related to interfaces
- Detect interference and propose a solution to the Group Leader
- Initiate all types of measurements at the level of drawings
- Offer solutions from the economic angle
- Check documents prepared by study centers, suppliers and construction companies

Profile

You have a Bac + 2 (BTS or DUT) in one of the specialties (building, reinforced concrete, metal frame). You practice or have good knowledge of current 2D drawing software (Autocad, Microstation) 3D modeling (Tekla, Revit), and you are familiar with the standards.
Proactive and creative, good interpersonal skills and a team spirit will be the keys to your success in this position. French and English operational for written and oral communication and writing on the drawings is mandatory.
