POSITION PURPOSE:

·Responsible for managing AFE & AFD Process from review of requested assets to the final approval

·Lead 0 to 5 months North American Brick wall planning to have field ready Assets available at the customer schedule

·Work with Engineering and Supply Chain in costing and creating new part numbers for the new Assets introduction.

·Responsible to define and implement the sustainable processes & tools required to deliver assets in sequence of priorities

·Responsible to develop and manage cost model and asset-supply matrix for the assets.

·Responsible for Assets delivery reporting to the Stakeholders. Ensuring the on time supply of Assets.

POSITION DUTIES:

·Lead the demand loading process with an effort to identify source with low cost and required lead time

·Update and publish the AFE Scorecard

·Work with Supply Chain to lead Asset purchasing cost reduction projects

·Work with Supply Chain to ensure on-time deliveries of Assets

·Develop 0 to 5 Months Brickwall for Assets supply & demand to understand and filling the shortages

·Leads BOM review with regions and sales to ensure that correct parts are produced or purchased as needed and in the proper sequence.

·Monitors the flow of assets through assigned projects. Avoids creation of excess assets and work for substitutions, where possible, to use and to reduce existing assets

·Work closely with the Quotation and Supply Chain to proactively identify and implement potential cost efficiencies

·Supervise and lead the team of Asset Analysts and other indirect resource

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
·  3+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, forecasting or financial analysis.
·  7+ years of experience in the relevant industry offering products & services in operations, supply chain or finance.
·  Must have a thorough understanding of typical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system capabilities, inputs and outputs.
·  Knowledge and understanding of asset management principles.
·  Complex critical thinking problem solving abilities.
·  Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, planning skills, negotiation skills and strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with co-workers in a matrixed environment.
·  Ability to develop relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve results in a matrixed organization.
·  Proficient with SAP, MS Office including Visio, Excel and Project, Adobe Acrobat.
·  Demonstrate ability to plan, organize and execute.
·  Ability to influence and drive achievement, even without direct authority.
·  Solid business acumen and financial literacy acumen with a functional understanding of financial and investment analysis.

Work Environment:

·  Office environment with frequent trips to the base locations and to other offices in the plant.
·  Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise, heavy machinery and shop traffic. Fast paced environment with repetitive transactions.
·  Multiple priorities and constant change.

Physical Demands :

Lots of sitting and computer work. Must be able to travel.
