Job Overview and Responsibilities:

•Deliver effective processing of freight payments in conjunction with our 3rd part freight payment system (currently CASS).
•To drive user performance & compliance related to the freight processes including increasing freight payment accuracy and reducing rejections.
•Implement new processes, tools and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders including Purchasing, Carriers, and the Business Units.
•To propose improvement opportunities to the Freight Team Leader and the End User Partner Manager
•Assist in the daily processing of invoice rejections
•Resolve payment issues by coordinating communication with carriers and users.
•Identify and solve systemic invoicing problems.

Education and Experience:

•Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics or supply chain
•At least two years of experience in Logistics (preferably Truck, Rail or Import/Export).

Skills:

•Pro-active and effective communicator
•Advanced MS Excel and/or Intermediate MS Access (or equivalent database skills) required.
•Experience in SAP mandatory
•Demonstrated customer and result orientation
•Good listening skills and proven experience in problem resolution
•Demonstrated analytical skills
•Knowledge of IT tools & systems
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Strong ability to drive quantifiable and sustainable improvement.
•Proven ability to analyze process defects and build corrective plans of actions
