Job description



Responsibilities

The mission is within SFS, Equity Finance and Delta one Sales and Trading teams
The Department interacts with Hedge funds, Banks and asset managers around the world and across asset classes

Daily tasks which includes:
• Producing regular reports & analytics
• Credit risk monitoring / pre-deal checking
• Assisting sales on trade bookings / rolls
• Improving operational processes
• Review of IT tools/Macro
P&L and Management reporting
• Daily reports to be produced for the sales desk using excel macros
• Daily and weekly summaries to be provided to sales, trading and management
• Daily calculation of Pnl for sales, and report generation

Risk reporting
• Daily risk monitoring of current clients
• Daily pre-deal checks of trades for sales to ensure we respect credit risk

Financing trades ( Bilateral and Triparty repos)
• Ownership of trade booking, by liaising with trading , operations, risk and the client
• Monitoring of trades that need to be rolled / require action
• Posting of Sales credits

Monthly Billing
• Responsible for oversight of all monthly billing to clients on pay to hold positions and follow up of any discrepancies / issues.

Marketing
• Create presentations to be delivered to management, which includes qualitative detail as well as numerical analysis

Projects
• Create and maintain automated workflows or adapt older process/Macro to newer technologies

VIE Mission:

This VIE in London but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months renewable.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com

Profile Required

• You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance / computer Science
• Ideally you have past experience in Investment banking
• You are fluent in English and French
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, powerpoint) and Python (coding language)
• Some market knowledge and experience in Investment banking/ financial services industry
