Responsibilities

·  Support DCM originators in developing client presentations, proposals and updates
·  Assist in the execution of DCM mandates, coordinating internal and external resources and contacts
·  Conduct analysis on new issues and credit analysis on target clients.
·  Prepare frequent written market updates and client marketing documents.
·  Work cohesively with other business lines within the investment bank in preparing internal and external marketing presentations
·  Create and update financial models

Profile Required

·  Although experience in the Debt Capital Markets, specifically Origination, would be a plus, it is not a pre-requisite. Broad profiles will be considered, especially if it is believed the candidate has a financial background and some knowledge of the international bond market
·  Undergraduate degree required
·  Willing and able to work fill time hours, typically 10+ hours every weekday. Overtime may be required
·  Occasional weekend work may be required/work from home on weekends
·  Excellent analytical skills – significant data research and credit analysis
·  Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is required
·  Organizational skills
·  Ability to work in a high stress environment
·  Familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus but not required
·  First class marketing skills – the ability to synthesize complex market arguments is crucial
·  The position requires a self-confident person who is a self-starter; highly motivated and reliable, with strong team spirit, well organized with excellent attention to details
·  Strong written and oral communication skills
·  Ability to complete accurate work under significant pressure
·  Awareness of and experience in working with people with international backgrounds, prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines

Business Insight

·  As a debt capital markets team member you will work directly with the head of the Americas and his originating team covering SG's North American and Latam client bases
·  The candidate will be expected to perform the full functions of a first year analyst
·  The candidate will be required to ensure that each originator is fully supported and provided with the necessary information they need in order to advise their clients
·  The successful candidate will thus need to provide support on the analytical side, presentations and marketing as well as be extremely organised
·  Sectors covered include Corporates, Financial Institutions, & Sovereigns

·  This is a full time position (40+ hrs/week) starting in January/February 2020.
