Mission

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for working as part of a Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration strategy relating to several trading applications. This work will involve:
·  containerisation of existing trading application using Docker EE
·  secure and connect services using Hashicorp Vault and Consul
·  configuring and testing deployment tools (Jenkins)
·  modernisation of the monitoring and alerting systems
·  Documentation of the CD and CI strategies and improving knowledge/championing the strategy
·  Develop scripts to automate manual operational tasks as well as build custom real-time monitoring tools and reports
·  Work on ad-hoc tasks such as server procurement, release management etc.

Profile

Desired Technical Skills:

·  Experience working with Docker
·  Programming background in scripting language (Python, Perl, etc.)
·  Programming background in a structured, object-oriented language (Java, C#, etc.)
·  Comfortable working on UNIX / Linux (Sysadmin, Shell Scripting, etc.) and Windows environments
·  Experience working with relational databases, excellent SQL skills

Plus: Interest in technologies, tradeoffs and design pattern of the cloud
