Responsibilities

Department Summary:

The Business Intelligence Center of Expertise is in charge of deploying the BI strategy across Americas region. The team is responsible for capturing new business needs, translating them into technical solutions, and managing the development and support of BI solutions. The team provide also guidance and act as internal consulting to team who would like to deploy BI projects.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Part of the Business Intelligence Center of Expertise, the candidate will work as Full stack developer.

The candidate will have the following responsibilities:

·  Rampup on internal dashboarding framework
·  Development of dashboards and reports part of the projects
·  Responsible for dashboarding governance, best practices and standards
·  Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, communications, and other pertinent documentation.
·  Provide a support on the tool
·  Provide a daily support
·  Build and provide training for development team around BI concept but also around dashboard development tools utilization (tips, best practice etc.)
·  Build and provide training for end users on tool utilization.
·  Collaborate with business and technical leaders to identify and scope the business opportunities

Profile Required

Technical Skills:

• React: at least 3 years of Frontend experience (ideally React, Preact, or Angular)

o Ideally, worked with Highcharts, D3.js, ag-grid, or similar graphing libraries

• Github, testing, software development in general

• API: how to consume an API (ideally Rest API in JSON)

o Python skills to write APIs for data gathering

• Advanced SQL skills: MS SQL, Oracle

• Data analysis, transformation, visualization (BI)

• UX/UI for Dashboard design

Desired / Plus:

• Big Data (Hadoop, Datalakes, etc)

• Ideally Oauth2 familiarity

Competencies:

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

• Flexible and adaptable to new environments. Ability to quickly learn new systems, products and businesses

• Team-oriented, client-focused and open to different ideas/viewpoints.

• Capable of prioritizing tasks and juggling multiple projects

• Behavioral: availability, professionalism, autonomy, rigor, team spirit

• Fluent in French/English

Experience Needed:

• Experience with data vizualization projects: > 3 years

• Experience as full stack developer: > 3 years

Plus:

• Experience in financial field will be a plus

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant technical field

Languages: English & French
