MISSION
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
You’ll assist in analyzing, monitoring and optimizing trading fees by coding and using existing platforms or to be built.
IT: all layers from back-end to front-end, server to client applications will be covered
Finance: all business lines, products, markets, and type of fees will be studied
Operational: whole Fees management process in each department: Front Office to back office, IT, accounting etc. will be reviewed
Regarding your daily tasks, you will be in charge of the following responsibilities:
- Develop multi-threaded, functional, asynchronous and stateless micro-services and deploy them to production using Java, Spring boot, Docker
- Develop the domain-model with elegant algorithmic structures and DSL
- Develop a rich, responsive, multi-paradigm database: ORM, graphs and documents
- Develop frontend applications in React
- Testing, document, support & extend all of the above
- Work in a fully automated CI/CD chain of production
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

PROFILE
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or University with a specialization in Information Technology
Good understanding of programming paradigms especially functional programming
Proficient in Java. Python, Docker, React are a plus
Finance knowledge a plus
You are fluent in English
