Service management center Specialist

The SMC Specialist shall guarantee the smooth and timely execution of Customer activation processes and the consistent delivery of Sky's Telecommunication Services. In case of incidents or other events that may impair Customer QoE, he will make skillful use of troubleshooting procedures and applications, that will enable to promptly undertake the appropriate corrective actions for minimizing the impact on customer services and for achieving full service restoration in the shortest time possible. In his role, he will also cooperate with the other CTO departments, the business units and the other stakeholders (e.g. Wholesale Access Providers), so as to ensure the effective execution of fulfilment and assurance processes, with the goal of maximizing the satisfaction of Sky's Customers.

ACTIVITIES

The SMC Specialist shall:

·  Perform all the activities pertaining to the Service Operation Management, Service Transition Management and Continual Service Improvement of fulfilment and assurance processes;
·  Ensure the timely, consistent and effective execution of proactive and reactive activities for detecting and fixing incidents that may impact Sky's fulfilment processes and Telecommunication services;
·  Cooperate with all the other stakeholders in the execution of proactive and corrective actions aimed at safeguarding the continuity and the quality of Sky's Telecommunication services;

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

·  2+ years in the Telecommunications industry, preferably in the Network Operations or in the OSS/BSS domains.

Technical requirements

·  High School Degree in Computer Science or in Electronics and Telecommunications;
·  Knowledge of telecommunications networks and services, in particular for fixed networks technologies;
·  Knowledge of the service fulfilment and assurance processes of a telecommunications operator.

Soft Skills

·  Ability to deliver in a constantly changing environment;
·  Motivation to achieve personal, group and company goals;
·  Ability to communicate effectively and fluently with stakeholders in both Italian and English, both in technical and business departments;
·  Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts.
