Opcenter RD&L Solution Architect

As Solution Architect for SIEMENS Digital Industry software, MOM “Advanced product Adoption” team for Process & Pharma Industry, you will join a team of solution architects, technical leaders, industry experts with years of domain and product expertise.

In your role as “Solution architect” from the product organization, you will be working alongside other APA colleagues in helping project delivery service professionals embrace new products/versions and to implement our software portfolio products leveraging the best practices.

Your primary responsibilities will be to

Support our global project teams in mapping requirements to solutions, based on OPcenter MOM's suite of products.

Co-design customer solutions, together with the project solution architect as part of the solution architecture phase of the project and extend mentor-ship assistance to the project teams throughout the project life-cycle.

In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to the services team, for deep technical topics concerning the MOM software products.

Your additional responsibilities will include

Supporting other functional consultants in the team with technical topics and assisting in developing product demo systems and other technical enablement activities.

Establishing excellent collaboration with the product development teams with mutually beneficial knowledge exchange and support will help you grow in your position and help establish relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Desired knowledge & experience

·  Master in engineering (Chemical, bio, bio-engineering...) or equal by expertise.
·  Several years of proven experience, whereof at least 2 years as a Solution architect, preferably in the Process Industry (product R&D, production or quality) preferably within sectors we are working in (CPG, Food & Beverage, Chemisty, Pharma...)
·  Affinity with IT platforms such as ERP/MES/MOM/LIMS/PLM
·  Highly desirable: Proficiency in .NET, Javascript, SQL Server
·  Fluency in English, Dutch or French is a plus
·  Travel 30%
