What do you get to do in this position?

- Be a technology and process expert, driving test, test fixture design and test automation for our advanced metering products
- Work with a variety of test automation tools and physical systems to design and build systems that provide maximum test-ability for our hardware/firmware metering products
- Develop efficient test strategies
- Design, implement, execute product and system tests
- Quickly and accurately report on product defects
- Participate in continuous improvement of product quality and contribute to the product and planning decisions
- Design and build test systems: mock ups of energy management systems from embedded sensors to the cloud systems
to which they are connected
- Utilize our system software offers to align validation with our customers
- Be a key part of an agile team from planning through execution to reporting

This job might be for you if you have:

- The aptitude to test embedded power metering products and you are driven to improve our efficiency through automation
- Knowledge of fundamental software engineering principles
- Knowledge of the fundamental test and test automation process, test levels, types and techniques. Test certifications are a plus.
- Critical and lateral thinking ability
- Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to different audiences
- A keen eye for detail and a pragmatic approach to your work
- Proven experience working with developers, product owners, and application engineers in an agile framework
- The ability to articulate and justify testing, test equipment and test automation activities to stakeholders
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems, Computer Science (experience may preclude the need for a degree)
- Knowledge of Python, LabView, batch, Microsoft Office, build automation, Jenkins

REQUIRED SKILLS




·  Background in software engineering fundamentals

·  Experience with embedded systems
·  Experience with LabVIEW
