Job Description : Hardware Senior Designer/ Technical Expert , Experience : 10 to 15 years.

We are currently seeking an Electronics Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Power Monitoring Bangalore Operations. Reporting to the Manager - Hardware,

Duties include Electronic Circuit Design, Design Reviews, Technical guidance , Mentoring the Juniors , Guiding Verification testing .

Responsibilities

· Design of analogue, digital circuits, SMPS for metering as well as for communication applications
· Exposure to embedded hardware design and development
· Knowledge on wireless Communication technologies such as Zigbee, 6LOW PAN, Bluetooth
· Knowledge on Hardware simulations and modelling in pSpice or LTspice
· Good knowledge and hands on experience on EMI/EMC design and Testing
· To take responsibility for the design and overall quality of the hardware,and provide leadership and guidance for junior engineers.
· Documentation of design specifications and implementation details.
· Knowledge on Safety and compliance certification like UL,CE,MID, FCC, etc
· Lead design reviews. Upholding of hardware design standards and methodologies.
· Realization of complex system requirements to provide robust and reliable hardware solutions.
· Responsibility for the complete implementation of detailed technical items and an understanding/appreciation of system level items.
· Flexibility is essential as specifications may not be fully defined at the start of development, and liaison with customers for continued feedback and input of requirements is likely throughout the development.
· Collaboration with other team members (including both hardware and software engineers) to agree system designs, interfaces and protocols etc.
· Development of appropriate test hardware and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove the correct operation of hardware.
· Provide support for the hardware and manage component obsolescence throughout its lifecycle.
· Monitoring and reporting of progress of development to immediate supervisor and development team.
· Proactively support company compliance to Health and Safety legislation through adherence to company polices, processes and practices.
· Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct.
· Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management

Requirement

·
· ME/ MTech /B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering with 10-15 year's relevant experience

· Proven track record of designing and analyzing electronic, Power supply and embedded solutions including ability to perform electronic design calculations
· Circuit simulation, Modelling experience a plus
· Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Flexible and Adaptable
· Ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.
· Strong verbal, written communication and Presentation skills.
