Systems Application Engineer II

What do you get to do in this position?

· Responsible for hardware engineering and the design and development of systems and processes necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
· Apply mechanical engineering principals to develop building automation designs and functional specification for our Building Automation Control Systems.
· Utilize standard engineering design tools in the development process such as AutoCAD, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Visio.
· Establish project design standards and conventions while facilitating improvements to quality.
· Coordinate project resources, including scheduling and establishing needs.
· Assist Sales and Project Managers with cost estimates and purchasing of project materials based on the design.
· Coordinate project engineering requirements on construction site with the subcontractors and provide scheduling for project needs.

This job might be for you if:

This position requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and two years of work experience in automation building systems OR a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five years of progressive work experience in automation building systems.

Special Skills or Other Requirements:




Must have 2 years of work experience with:

· 
Building control HVAC systems specifically for pharmaceutical buildings;

· 
Serving as Capital Construction project design engineer for HVAC/building automation valued at least $1M+;

· 
Validating designs by consulting the onsite engineers;

· 
Startup systems to design and develop building automation products;

· 
Construction design and building automation management system tools to design and commission building HVAC control systems; and

· 
AutoCAD, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Bluebeam, Procore, Newforma, and Building Automation Design Suite.
