In a context of strong expansion of the photovoltaic market around the world, Schneider Electric has decided to play a key role among the main players in the market by providing a complete solution, from the output of solar panels to the network connection.

The "Solar Business" entity of Schneider Electric is a very dynamic and growing structure, comparable to a startup mode.

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for adapting, promoting and supporting integrated solutions for customers in the utility-scale and large commercial solar market segments in France.

Main missions of the role :

· Master the specifications and applications of the “Schneider Solar Offer,” including

Inverter Stations, Grid Tie Substations, PV plant SCADA and controllers.

· Be expert in competitor's offers and equip the sales team with relevant information

· Provide solution architectures for specific opportunities to assure winning proposals

that meet customer requirements, in presales phase but also during execution of the projects.

· Take ownership of relationships with technical staff for key strategic customers , and provide engineering and consultation as the lead technical interface through the sales process, drawing on Schneider resources and support as necessary.

· Take responsibility for assuring that tendering teams are able to provide quality offers quickly to customers. This includes providing or organizing training, mentoring, bringing expertise.

· Anticipate new market requirements and create competitive advantage through

creative adaptations and positioning of offers.

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

Electrical Engineering Degree with at least 3 years of experience of electrical design in the Solar field, you have developed good customer understanding and system architecture methodology, starting from customer needs identification.

You have developed Solar specific skills such as single-line diagrams, system sizing and layout, PV plant energy yield optimization, inverter buildings, civil works,

monitoring & control software.

You ability to influence and convince in your domain, and you communication skills are recognized. You are comfortable cooperating within multicultural teams in a fast paced environment, structured and rigorous in your activity follow up.

Fluency in English and French are required

The position is based near Lyon, but Grenoble and Paris are also possible locations.
