Quality Control (QC) Environmental Monitoring (EM) Systems Professional

Location: Swiftwater, PA

This is a First Shift position (8:00 am – 4:30 pm)

The Position

The QC EM Systems Professional is responsible for administration and support of the EM database application and associated equipment for the Swiftwater, PA site.  The candidate must perform tasks in an efficient, cGMP compliant, and safe manner.  The candidate may be required to interact with health authorities during inspections. Success in this position requires the individual to be adaptable and react quickly to changing priorities in a high-stress environment.  It also requires collaboration with members of the team, and with other quality and operations teams. The candidate is required to complete Safety and Compliance training and associated training modules.

Key Responsibilities

·  Supports and maintains the integrity of EM database applications by identifying and correcting errors, communicating errors to Industrial Affairs (IA) and driving corrections as part of the Data Management Systems Requests (DMSR) process
·  Administrator for the EM database applications assigning EM site locations, creating/managing templates and alert/action levels, and managing particle counters to assure EM Program, Area-specific SWIs and EM templates, sites and alarms are in alignment
·  Conducts system/process training, system audits (user and data accuracy)
·  Supports system enhancements/updates as part of the Validation lifecycle, which includes replicating identified errors (bugs), testing, and communicating issues to Information and Technology Solutions (ITS).
·  May participate in the review of procedures, instructions, protocols, reports, data packs and training modules

Basic Qualifications

·  Minimum HS diploma (or GED) required
·  Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in a quality or manufacturing environment will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
·  Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
·  Prior experience with the EM databases, including MASTER and PharmNet-Web
·  Prior experience with quality applications, such as Geode+, GeodIS, and Phenix
·  Prior experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & PowerPoint
·  Prior experience with training software, such as Storyline and Captivate
·  Prior work experience in a good manufacturing practices (GMP) environment
