TITLE: Post-doctoral Fellow, mRNA vaccine

Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of the global pharmaceutical company Sanofi, is the largest company in the world entirely dedicated to developing and producing high quality vaccines. A postdoctoral position is open in the area of novel vaccine designs at Cambridge campus of Sanofi Pasteur.  As a postdoctoral fellow, you will focus on developing vaccine engineering and production platform using innovative technologies. You will be a member of a team with diverse expertise from synthetic biology, immunology, vaccinology, to computational biology. 

Qualifications:

·  PhD in molecular biology, synthetic biology and relevant field
·  Ability to work in BL2+ environment with potentially infectious biological samples
·  Strong publication record
·  All candidates must have permanent US work authorization. No visa sponsorship will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have:

·  Expertise in strain engineering for recombinant protein expression
·  Experience in enzyme engineering
·  Experience in HTS enzyme assay development
·  Experience in biochemical assay development (IVT, RNA purification/quantification, protein purification)
·  Knowledge and experience in modern vaccine technology is a plus
·  Evidence of good oral and written communication skills
