Job description



**Monday-Friday- 8am-5pm (With flexibility or as needed)**

The candidate will work in a team environment to accomplish the following:

·  Develop process and utility strategies, P&IDs, wiring diagrams and control panel layouts
·  Work with various teams (Maintenance, Metrology, Reliability, Operations and HSE) to perform system and equipment troubleshooting
·  Serve as an engineering resource to other groups within the Ridgefield site.
·  Walk down systems/utilities and update electronic engineering drawings to reflect as built conditions
·  Serve as project manager for small to mid-sized projects
·  Implement instrumentation changes and PID loop tuning
·  Prepare and execute commissioning documents as needed
·  Support Internal and external audits as required
·  Actively contribute to the improvement of policy, practices, and procedures
·  Assist in preparing capital project approval forms for senior management approval
·  Provide cost estimates for new systems and equipment as well as modifications or upgrades to existing equipment
·  Comply with company policies, SOPs, cGMP and OSHA requirements
·  Communicate and work constructively with other departments and teams
·  Manage corrective and preventive actions as assigned and work with our Quality group to ensure timely completion of investigations and CAPA implementations
·  Represent the department in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
·  Complete required cGMP and safety training in a timely manner
·  Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through adherence to safety guidelines and policies (LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space, etc.)
·  Communicate effectively with respect to verbal, written, and listening skills

Qualifications

·  BS in Engineering required with 1-3 years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years' experience. Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or AutoCAD P&ID (or related software)
·  Demonstrated ability to lead/manage small to mid-sized projects
·  Excellent interpersonal skills
·  Experience with MS Office, MS Project
·  Strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as problem analysis and resolution
·  Ability to multi-task
·  Self-starter with hands-on work inclination
