Business Operations Analyst Trainee

PLEASE NOTE: All suitable candidates should satisfy 2 eligibility criteria: Educational eligibility and Work Employment Authorization in the country.

·  In terms of education, candidates have to be either currently enrolled in studies (BA, MA, post-doc etc.) or have had completed their latest studies inside past 24 months;

In both cases, to collaborate with SANOFI, it is necessary for your educational institution (university, technical school etc.) to sign an Educational Cooperation Agreement ( Protocolo de Estágio ) with SANOFI

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to Sanofi Pasteur General manager, in this role you will support Sanofi Pasteur team in further developing private market channel with more effective commercial performance tracking mechanisms as well as supporting team in preparation for key launch for flu franchise.

We are offering 6 + 6 month long contract and 7.5 hour a day, 37,5 hour a week employment. 

Location: Lisbon

About You

Essential: Able to sign an internship agreement/Educational Cooperation Agreement with your educational institution.

·  University degree in: Business Administration, Economics, Applied mathematics, Statistics Analysis;
·  Ability to construct and assess analytical models;
·  Language fluent level:  Portuguese, English;
·  Applications: Microsoft Office with strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities;
·  Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI, Click View is a strong plus;
·  Strong analytical skills;
·  Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and/or retail channel (wholesalers, pharmacies) desired;
·  Ability to balance complex projects concurrently;
·  Ability to independently drive projects;
·  Strong Project Management;
·  Resourceful & proactive;
·  Works collaboratively across areas and levels;

Key responsibilities

With the objectives to grow significant in the private market and prepare two major launches for vaccines, the trainee will be responsible for two important initiatives:

·  Retail Business Operations Tracker (ReBOT): To complement the Business Operations Tracker designed to manage the demand planning needs for the PU market, a tracker to monitor and assess retail channel performance is critical to achieve the objectives for PR market growth. Much of the market and sales data for vaccines requires the crossing and analyses of various sources.  As such, there is a strong need to consolidate market and internal information in a robust commercial-focused manner to facilitate decision-making on a daily basis (e.g., sales tracking, resource allocation, pricing) as well as mid-to-long term strategic decisions (e.g., channel development, strategic position);
·  Demographics Deep Dive: In preparation for critical launches in the next 2-3 years, it will be fundamental to assess the economic and market impact (e.g., productivity, consumption, etc.) by age segments. The assessment will require discovery, analysis, and interpretation of multiple information sources to better understand the economic impact by each age group (60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+).
