The Professional Sales Representative will play an important role in creating the next wave of medical innovation by helping to commercialize the very first FDA-cleared prescription digital therapeutic for substance use disorder and subsequently adding to the substance use disorder portfolio. He/she will ethically and compliantly implement tactics as defined by the Marketing and Sales plans. He/she delivers balanced sales presentations to current and prospective cus-tomers within an assigned territory. In the assigned territory, the representative will utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience. Customers may include, but are not limited to physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, and clinics/hospitals. The rep-resentative will plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action. Administration of territory information and compliance to promotional, reporting, and regulatory requirements is imperative. Participation in certain training and development programs is required.

Major Accountabilities
•Achieve performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment (Territory).
•Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all promoted products and products with which they compete.
•Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of diseases for which products are indicated.
•Deliver comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using all approved marketing and selling materials.
•Contact and deliver proficient sales presentations to customers of approved specialties.
•Demonstrate an understanding of the managed care process in the territory in which he/she sells (i.e. which plans are prevalent and impact business in the territory).
•Develop a daily call schedule to insure efficient and comprehensive coverage of territory.
•Complete pre and post call analysis that impacts future customer interactions.
•Complete administrative reports as required.
•Participate in training and development programs as required.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and participating in District and National meetings.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Education /Experience:
•Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
•Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, specifically in the prescription drug space is required
•Diversified experience across BioPharma, medical device and health care technology (software, EMR, data, etc.) is strongly preferred
•Prior experience in the addiction space and/or opioid pain markets is a plus, as well as prior experience in co-promoting products to health care providers
•Ability to coordinate a large menu of service offerings to multiple customer stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to launch innovative/novel products in a challenging reimbursement environment
•Candidates should be able to speak to clinical data and disease states
•Track record of successfully achieving quota
•Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
•Self-motivated and driven, high energy and ability to manage stress
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills
•Candidate must be properly licensed and physically able to safely operate and drive an automobile in order to perform field calls on customers
•Ability to work independently from a home office
•Some territories will require over-night travel
