Roquette America, Inc., a major French carbohydrate derivative company, is seeking Engineer for internships at its Keokuk, Iowa location.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

·  Execute improvement projects for reliability, production yields, and rates to reduce fixed and variable costs and increase efficiencies.

·  Draw innovation from employees, supervisors, and other production units.

·  Actively participate in safety and environmental programs

·  Mentor with Supervisors on daily responsibilities of managing a refinery operation

·  Develop project scopes with Operations and other related duties to execute a successful project

·  Assist with other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

·  Major in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field

·  Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 grading scale

·  Junior, Senior or Current Graduate Student Status

·  Authorized to work in the U.S.

·  Basic knowledge of chemical unit operations and interfacing computer equipment preferred

·  Strong verbal and written communication skills

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office
