The Position

The Application and Data Platforms Engineering team is accountable for the standard way to deploy and operate Data and Application Platform IT technologies to fit into effective end-to-end infrastructure solutions for hosting business applications and meeting employee and business process needs.

AsApplication and Data PlatformsSenior Engineeryou will

· 
Focus on delivery of standards for innovative new technologies in IT Infrastructure. Next focus on innovation in the team is planned to be with Integration (Cloud-to-Cloud, Clout-to-OnPrem, OnPrem-to-OnPrem) and Containers.

· 
Ensure a high degree of automation, collaborating with the Infrastructure-as-Code Engineering team.

· 
Guide the development of IT Infrastructure standards with new versions, improvements and containment or retirement of end-of-life technologies, interacting with Managed Service Providers who are engaged to delver

· 
TechnicalLeadin Projects involving IT Infrastructure.

· 
Adapt to various working styles (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) in projects and ongoing delivery.

· 
Support IT Operations on improvements in reliability, sustainability and effectiveness of the deployed solutions.

· 
Consulting for internal IT organizations on the use of IT Infrastructure

· 
Maximizing value & time to value in the delivery of IT Infrastructure standards and in the application of standards.

· 
Coach team members

· 
Make a positive impact to the wider IT organization.

· 
Drive transparent communication in the team aiming for inclusive collaboration with partner organizations.

· 
Ensuring published information from the team is valuable and up-to-date. Collaborate with product owners and subject matter experts on the content.

You have aBacheloror equivalent degree in informatics or computer science. You have6+ years of professional experience in IT related to IT Infrastructure.

Your qualifications:

You bring6+years expertise in some of the Data and Application Platform technologies, applying the knowledge for an international enterprise.

· 
You have curiosity and are continuously learning new technologies and ways to best make a positive impact to your team and the wider organization.

· 
Bing skills and experience that apply in one or more key technology focus areas:

· 
Integration tools (Cloud-to-Cloud, Cloud-to-OnPrem, OnPrem-to-OnPrem) like MuleSoft

· 
Container technologies like Docker, integration of containers, usage in Cloud/OnPrem, and the concept of Container-as-a-Service.

· 
Wide IT Infrastructure knowledge that includes a subset of established mission-critical technologies like databases (Oracle, SQL, MySQL), web servers & middleware (tomcat, jboss, IIS, Java, OpenJDK), terminal services (Citrix), integration (Tibco) and other Application & Data Platform technologies.

· 
Communicates openly and inclusively. Listens attentively and captures effectively the meanings expressed.

· 
Pro-active attitude and an independent work style; self driven

· 
Strong communication skills with high English language proficiency is essential.

· 
Experience in Life Sciences or other regulated sector is an advantage
