As the Software Architect, you can expect to work closely with the CTO, Product Owner and the development team to build and architect software and platform development solutions on a wide range of projects. We use a strong stack here at Watchfinder, and we’re not afraid to try new technologies or techniques and we’re also not afraid to drop them either.

Coupled with a lot of international expansion, system scalability and a move to Azure we also have some exciting greenfield projects that you can get your teeth stuck into! Trust me, you will want to work on these projects!

What we look for?

We want to see the passion and drive with a real enthusiasm for the work. You will be a key driver in the technology for the business.

·  Experience in Cloud Infrastructure management, virtualisation, Design and Architecture
·  Experience as a software architect in a multi-facet environment.
·  Responsible for consistent Software design and developing standards across the team.
·  You should be fluent in the following technologies:
C#, .NET, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML5, Unit Testing, TDD, Webpack, MVC, API’s, OOP, SOLID Principles, Containers, SQL,CI/CD pipelines,Azure DevOps/Jira and AWS/Azure platforms.
·  Strong development methodologies and the use of best practices.
·  Good team player and able to work on own initiative.
·  Proven ability to establish strong, effective working relationships at all levels.
·  Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
·  Hands-on experience of working through the end to end project lifecycle
·  Ability to prioritise.
