RETAIL SALES AUDIT SUPERVISOR - SHELTON, CT

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Monitor and maintain compliance of internal control policies and procedures across the organization (boutiques and offices) as per Group requirements. Improve the level of internal control through procedures implementation and training, identification of risks and communication with Brands and Support Functions.
·  Supervise two direct reports. Prioritize and communicate the department responsibilities to complete all deadlines and ensure accuracy.
·  Support credit card inquiry and chargeback resolution process as well as investigate and resolve variances with credit cards, wire transfers and certificate server variances to enable reconciliation of the general ledger accounts
·  Supervise the daily interaction with the boutiques to instruct and enforce all policy and procedures.  Manage the openings and closings of boutiques to ensure proper retail setup and training of new employees on policies and procedures.
·  Coordinate with Legal and Tax Department related to subpoenas, Patriot Act and 8300 compliance

 

 

JOB PROFILE

Education:

·  Bachelor’s Degree

 

Required Experience:

·  Retail Audit / Supervisory Skills

 

Technical Skills / Abilities: 

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power point), highly proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
·  Ability to travel to locations within North America.
·  Prior supervisory skills.

·  Self-starter with Team Player approach.
·  Strong analytical skills, process oriented: able to analyse, dissect and optimize business processes.
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills.
·  Ability to lead a team.
