As a second line IT engineer, you can expect to work closely with nearly 300 users spanned across the globe. This role will give a variation of ticket requests, from corporate infrastructure, Hardware updates/installs to travelling to other countries to set up new offices and retail stores!  When it comes to technology, we like to keep ahead of the game. We use Cloud-based services, cutting edge monitoring systems and are always looking at different ways to be more agile.

We use a strong stack here at Watchfinder, and we’re not afraid to try new technologies or techniques and we’re also not afraid to drop them either.

 

What we look for?

 

·  Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10
·  Good administration knowledge of cloud-based services such as Office 365, Sharepoint and OneDrive.
·  Strong knowledge of Active Directory
·  Good knowledge/experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs
·  Good knowledge of Dell Hardware
·  Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work to meet tight deadlines
·  Strong communication skills
·  Excellent telephone manner and client-facing experience
·  Work proactively as an individual and within a team
·  Take on the responsibility of assigned tasks and helping others when needed

Desirable:

·  Exposure to Microsoft Azure
·  Understanding of VOIP
·  Exposure to Mac OS
·  Project management experience
·  Professional Qualifications
