The Creative Department at Watchfinder & Co. is looking for someone to fill the role of Editorial Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the English language, a passion for social media, be a self-motivated learner, and be able to work to deadlines under pressure. An interest in and knowledge of luxury watches is an advantage.
This role will provide the opportunity for someone to further a career in social media engagement and editorial copywriting with an industry-leading and fast-growing organisation. Tasks will include:
Researching and writing copy for a variety of platforms including Instagram, Twitter and our blog
Some basic photography/videography
Researching and developing social media trends to increase engagement
Formatting, uploading and scheduling content using social media management systems
Proofreading and fact-checking
You will have
Editorial copywriting experience, with a passion for writing
A strong interest in social media engagement
Keen attention to detail
The ability to think creatively
Self-motivation for learning
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Beneficial but nonessential:
English language-related qualification
Experience in social media engagement
Experience with social media management systems
Photography experience
Knowledge of luxury watches
Familiarity with Adobe creative suite
