Job description

As International Key Account Manager (m/f) you are responsible for the development of new distribution opportunities with a particular focus on the foodservice and vending environment. You will establish new business partnerships, as well as manage existing Key Accounts to deliver sales, volume, P/L and distribution targets. Further, you will work closely with Red Bull country organizations to implement the sales strategy, provide guidance and share best practices.

·  Development of new distribution opportunities

Lead the continuous development of new distribution opportunities in the foodservice (& Quick Service Restaurants) and vending channel, as well as other sales opportunities in Specialty Retail

Increase distribution in highly relevant locations (linked to consumption locations for instance in the at work environment)

·  Sales Strategy 

Continuously work on and take the Red Bull sales strategy for the respective channels (Foodservice, Vending, Specialty Retail, QSR) to the next level

Be a resource for market teams to incorporate Red Bull’s sales strategy into joint business plans with local strategic partners

Understand the foodservice and vending consumer/shopper by working closely with the Trade Marketing and Shopper Insights teams on - among other projects - custom research

 

·  Key Account Management

Establish new business partnerships, as well as manage existing Key Accounts to deliver sales, volume, P/L and distribution targets

Enable markets to establish strong business relationships with foodservice and vending companies and indirectly support them to deliver profitable ongoing sales growth

Drive channel growth to exceed Energy Drink category development

·  Product & Brand Execution at POS 

Improve Red Bull’s brand presence at the POS by working closely with international stakeholders on new POS developments

Work closely with brand marketing on developing practical & scalable consumer activations

Become an expert in Red Bull’s product portfolio, retail/foodservice/vending partners, and internal capabilities

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· 
3+ years experience in Key Account Management (preferably in foodservice or vending) with a proven track record, working with global brands (FMCG/grocery industry preferred) across sales, marketing and insight functions

· 
Passion for establishing new business partnerships – ability to understand the immediate implications of new route-to-market, value chain and impact on the existing business

· 
Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality, pragmatic in developing things from scratch and a passion to drive the initiative to the next level

· 
Successful front-line retail negotiation experience and problem-solving skills

· 
Experience in data analysis, creating insights, embedding learnings and partnering with markets

· 
Exceptionally strong communicator that excels in translating complex business issues into practical and relevant terms. Further, being able to effectively convey actionable implications to internal stakeholders (executive exposure) across diffrent teams and culture is paramount

· 

Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or economics related

· 

Business fluent English is necessary. Additional languages are a plus.
