Italdesign is looking for a person, who will be in charge of side crash performance. The candidate will be employed in the Passive Safety Engineering department of the italian site of Italdesign. After a professional training phase, he will be responsible for performance steering, timing, team coordination of specific project/s.

responsabilità

• Integration of the passive safety side crash items for specific project/s (integrator) • Understanding and implementation of the project requisitions (from the concept phase to market introduction) • Involvement in the side crash development both in the timing and the technical aspects • Taking care of high speed tests set-up, analysis and countermeasures • Guarantee the coherence and consistency of the technical solutions adopted in the project • Interfacing and working together with different speakers, consolidating relations and contributing to the integration with the Team and into the Group

competenze

• Good experience in the technical sector of the Passive Safety (especially in high speed crashes) • Knowledge of quality standards and engineering rules of this sector, even the international laws and ratings of passive safety field • Knowledge about development procedures and the technical solutions needed to achieve the performance in passive safety • Capability to interface and to cooperate with other organizational units and/or at different levels (both internal and suppliers / customers) • Preferred xperience in side high speed crash performance • Preferred experience in side restraint system performance • Preferred experience in side simulation (biomechanics or structure) Additional Information • Education: Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or analogue • Work Experience: 3 years’ experience in the field • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated • Workplace: Moncalieri (TO) and availability to travel The research is aimed at both sexes (L.903/77). Youth@work approved
