Italdesign is looking for a dynamic person, who is requested to work in:
¿ Engineering/Developing interior and exterior lighting electronic components to be integrated on show cars, small series and series projects;
¿ Pre-development of electronic lighting components to be installed on series or small series cars;
¿ Developing electronic aspects for innovative lighting projects.

responsabilità

Italdesign is expanding activities in prototyping and engineering automotive interior and exterior lighting components. The Lighting Electronic Engineer, collaborating with other persons of the Italdesign/EE Lighting team, is requested to: 1) Develop lighting components projects for show cars, small series. He/she will lead pre-development electronic analysis for lighting components for series development. This position will include managing different technical aspects of lighting ECUs and interfacing ECUs with BCM and with headlamp/rear lamps (power dimensioning, failures diagnosis, EMC, components validation , electronic validation on the car); 2) Support in steering lighting suppliers, as far as electronic aspects are concerned, working on headlamps, rear lamps and related ECU’s (i.e. LED evaluation, LED supplier evaluation, pc-boards, flex-boards, ECU, EMC, power dimensioning, failures diagnosis, EMC, validation of the components, validation on the car): this implies to be involved in all project phases from electronic specification preparation up to electronic validation on vehicle. Candidates for consideration will be responsible for developing/supporting electronic aspects lighting components prototyping/engineering in internal projects as well as for external customers’ projects. Main activities are: • Pre-development phases: Electronic analysis and integration of automotive lighting components • Development phases: Collaborate/steer exterior/interior lighting supplier • Prototyping phases: Collaborate/steer exterior/interior lighting suppliers • Validation phases: Support/steer electronic validation aspects • Interfacing during the different project phases different internal/customer departments (design/prototyping/engineering/validation/production)

competenze

• 1-2 years of experience in field of Electronic Engineering with a focus on Lighting Systems better if for Automotive Lighting system for Exterior (Front and/or Rear) and/or Interior Lighting • Electronic competences regarding: electronic architecture for automotive technology, CAN and LIN networks • Electronic competences regarding BCM • Electronic competences regarding lighting ECUs • Competences regarding EMC aspects management in project development • Ability to use Matlab • MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook) knowledge • General competences regarding thermal, optical, mechanical analysis for automotive lighting components • General competences about electronic automotive validation Additional information • Education: Master Degree in Electronic Engineering • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian are required. Knowledge of German/Chinese would be appreciated • Workplace: Moncalieri (TO) and availability to travel. The research is aimed at both sexes (L.903/77) Youth@work approved
