Sales and Marketing

Sales and Marketing is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s market strategy and in particular to ensure we:

·

·
are inclusive by default

·
deliver commercial impact with purpose

·

The Sales and Marketing team are focused on supporting the development and delivery of PwC’s market strategy - specifically, driving revenue growth, enhancing relationships and networks, and creating a distinct brand experience for our clients. You’ll develop the foundations of a marketing career as part of the Marketing Centre of Excellence, made up of Digital, Content and Campaigns teams.

We’re an innovative, creative and fun team operating at a fast pace to react to market trends, take advantage of commercial opportunities and provide insight back into the business. The placement is a very hands-on role where you will get involved in all aspects of marketing from campaign delivery and content creation to digital advertising and reporting. The experience is gained by delivery and ‘doing’ rather than sitting next to someone watching what they do. It will be challenging, exciting, fast-paced and, most of all, rewarding. The nature of the role also provides opportunities to develop other ‘soft skills’ which are highly valued by employers such as teamwork, leadership and influencing skills, amongst others.

Key responsibilities and skills will include:

·
Working collaboratively across the Marketing Centre of Excellence with Campaign, Content and Digital marketing teams where applicable to deliver best-in-class integrated campaigns.

·
Supporting and executing a number of topical and strategic marketing campaigns across the firm’s growth priorities and programmes through an integrated multi-channel approach.

·
Proactively seeking to learn about different marketing channels and bringing new and innovative ideas on how we can engage most effectively with our key audiences and stakeholders.

·
Supporting on content creation including email campaigns, presentations, blogs, website activity and other relevant promotional materials.

·
Supporting on monitoring campaign performance and provide reporting, relevant data and insight to optimise, using marketing automation where relevant.

·
Supporting on the organisation of events and the management of agency relationships and sponsorships.

·
Demonstrating active use of our Client Relationship Management System (Salesforce) and Marketing Cloud to track marketing activity and contribute to the management information for clients.

The candidate can be based in our offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or Bristol.

We are looking for someone who is:

·
passionate and curious about a career in marketing

·
a self-starter, and open to working flexibly, sometimes as part of a virtual team

·
proactive, with a positive can-do attitude

·
good attention to detail

·
creative and able to think innovatively

·
a strong communicator with great people-skills

·
a real team player

·
interested in digital and technology.

What you’ll gain

By experiencing life inside one of the world’s largest professional services organisations, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to build and work on your commercial and personal skills. Working alongside specialists, you’ll work on projects to give you the best insight into what we’re about. You’ll have the opportunity to build networks with your colleagues and peer group - factors which will make a real difference when you return for your last year at university.

What you’ll need:

·
To be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.

·
To be a second year undergraduate university student on a four-year degree expecting to do a work placement in your third year.
