An internship in IT gives the opportunity to lead one or multiple projects end-to-end, managing the schedule, the interaction with a multifunctional team including full accountability for project success and contribution. Intern job responsibilities will be defined through the scope of the respective Internship project and will require to develop ideas, perform data analysis, develop project recommendations and documentation, engage with different partners from various organizations and finally bring the agreed plan to successful completion.

We are looking for a Business Analyst intern. You will use top-notch Business Intelligence systems for analyzing various internal and external data feeds, such as: Point-of-sale, Trade panel, Consumer surveys. You will create value for P&G by transforming data into insights and recommendations that drive competitive advantage for the company.

Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to prepare their master thesis in conjunction with their internship in IT, in liaison with their academic tutors. As a P&G intern you will experience the normal workplan of an IT manager, that embraces multiple projects/roles, including the one related to the thesis. You should consider that your thesis-related project might not cover for the majority of your overall effort, as we want you to see what it means to be a real IT manager at P&G

Location: Rome, General Office
Duration: 4-6 months

Salary is according to current P&G Italy policies, accommodation is offered for non-Rome based candidates.

You will be required to

- Proactively search for improved ways to run business processes and/or applications
- Manage your own time effectively and eventually coordinate others and/or contractors
- Build collaborative relationships with the teams you need to interact with
- Proactively communicate the status of the project, activities and help to remove roadblocks
- Build your own capability through the job experience, coaching/training for skills and business/technologies/applications knowledge building.

• A Master degree student IT/Engineering/Technical/Managerial programs, approaching the period of thesis preparation.
• Strong interest in both business and technology
• Excellent academic results
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, built on a foundation of excellent analytical and strategic thinking.
• A passion for transforming how the business runs is essential.
• Good command of the English language is a must, local language is a plus
