Internship - Junior Laboratory Reinforcement Engineer

The candidate will be work within the Material Laboratory – physical testing section as junior engineer and will have the following tasks

· to define and carry out experimental plans on reinforcement materials and composites (also developing new lab procedures or methodologies under quality criteria)
· to participate to R&D projects involving steel or textile reinforcements as project team member
· to support steel and textile composite industrialization processes from laboratory testing side
· to consolidate such activities through data collection, analysis and regular reporting
· to establish and maintain good relations with colleagues from other Central Material Functions (mainly Compounding and Reinforcing team and Quality) and local R&D and Quality organizations.
· to Participate to training sessions & courses

Requirements

1. Degree in material, chemical or mechanical engineer, physics or material science.

2. Deep Material Science knowledge

3. Good knowledge of Physical Characterization of Materials

4. Ability to work in the laboratory and in sharing with others

5. Excellent English knowledge (written / oral)

6. High level of adaptability and capacity to deal with multiple tasks inside a scenario of high level of technical and strategic complexity

7. Good communication skills and strong multicultural orientation

8. Flexibility for frequent missions WW

9. Good balance between theoretical and practical skills

10. Very good knowledge of Office package & web application usage
