Purpose of the role:

The primary focus of this role isto provide financial management, control rigor and value add analysis of Cost of Goods (COGS) for a group of market units within Comanufacturing area. As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the full costing and planning of the coman spend, ensuring accurate data management (costcard preparation) and reporting from the TM1 system. You will highlight and explain key drivers of performance variances and provide stakeholders with forecasts underlining risks and opportunities. As this role aims to centralize and transform the ways of working on coman costs, it will let you have a strong exposure on the business. You will interact frequently with different functions in multiple markets To that, you will be working closely with multiple local planning teams and control functions to process actuals data and prepare clear cost and cause of change.

Main accountabilities:

·  Financial cost card ownership and accountability for accuracy of system data (in TM1) for all live Coman SKUs across all categories (Juice, Snacks, Grains and Beverages) for multiple BUs, ensuring alignment with local ERPs
·  Support ESSA Coman Finance Lead to prepare AOP and LE forecasts, including the integration of guidance on commodities; prepare summary of actual results including a clear articulation of the drivers of variances to plan and forecast ie PV, FX, productivity per BU
·  Provision of clearly understood and quantified risks and opportunities within the BU Coman Plan/Forecast along with recommendations of potential trade-offs that impact the BU P&L
·  Work with local control and planning teams to produce accurate period close with fully explained cause of change – involves multiple systems and data formats unique to specific markets
·  Regular interaction with Coman and GP teams to ensure BOMs are live and up to date
·  Liaison with CSL and the Coman purchasing teams to ensure that financial systems are loaded with the correct data from point of purchase through receipting of goods to the payment of the invoice – supporting the timely remediation and escalation when BU leads flag issues
·  Interaction with the commercialization teams to ensure correct coman costcards are used and optimum product launch decisions are taken
·  Own the calculation, update and communication of coman Productivity on behalf of the BUs, ensuring all variances are understood by key stakeholders
·  Support the SC E2E teams by providing insights to facilitate optimum sourcing decision making
·  Deliver an excellent service to GBS Finance clients

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Strong financial technical skills - professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA would be highly beneficial
·  Several years of professional finance experience – FMCG environment would be an asset
·  Good communication skills to provide clearly articulated and appropriate messages across wide spectrum of stakeholders, from equivalent BU analysts to Director/Senior Director level
·  Change management skills and mindset
·  Intellectual capacity to link accounting concepts to underlying financial data systems in order to understand, analyze and interpret both actual results and forecast data
·  Determination and drive to fully understand current processes embedded in the Coman agenda, and challenge the status quo to deliver improvements and share best practice across both Coman and the rest of SC Finance
·  Proficiency in English language is essential, knowledge of French/Spanish/Russian would be an advantage
·  Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong ability to work in Excel
·  Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, driving own agenda balanced with capacity to recognize when support is required
·  Attention to detail
·  Previous experience of working in a virtual, remote team would be beneficial
·  Ability to work across markets, cultures and at all levels in the organization to overcome issues as they arise
·  Balance competing stakeholder requirements
·  Good problem solving skills, analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks
