Job Description

The Distribution Requirement Planner (DRP) is part of the Planning Department (PD) that is part the Customer Service and Logistics (CS&L) organization. CS&L is the linking pin between supply and demand. It is responsible to manage demand and supply operations in order to optimize customer case fill performance and inform stakeholders about any stock risks and opportunities. The scope of CS&L encloses the stock positions of all categories in retail and away-from-home channels of PepsiCo Benelux.
DRPs work for one category and are responsible for identifying stock and obsolete risks following from supply risks and demand deviations and taking proper actions to mitigate these risks. The DRP places orders at planning departments from PepsiCo plants and co-manufacturers, and contacts them for supply related risks. The DRP also monitors demand variations with regard to baseline, promotions and repack on a daily basis including managing the supply set up of new SKU’s. Key stakeholders of the DRP are functions within sourcing units, customer service, demand planning and logistics.
The DRP is accountable to deliver the targeted service level and obsoletes for its category and to initiate and accommodate improvement plans with regard to supply and demand in cooperation with its stakeholders. The objective is to improve customer (perceived) service performance internally as well as externally, resulting in optimized stock levels for its category.
Furthermore, you support the other DRP planners in developing improvements in specific projects. You also assist the SAP analyst of the department with the development of the Business Intelligence system and additional SAP needs.

Related to copack activities you will:

·  Plan In- and Outbound (translation demand plan to Inventory planning) – deliver input for capacity planning 3PL
·  Manage Co-packing activities like displays, mix cases,,…
·  Inventory management of the co-pack orders including stock reconciliations and Root CauseAnalysis – remediation Plan stock differences different systems and link 3PL
·  Inventory Partner Shopper Marketing (collaborative Co-operation management POS material)
·  Monitor and report on the performance of the 3PL in close cooperation with the Logistics Manager

Qualifications/Requirements

·  You have a master/bachelor degree in Supply chain / Business Engineering or Economic Sciences;
·  You have a 2-3 year experience in Customer Service, Logistics or Demand Planning;
·  Previous employment as a planner in FMCG or preferable food environment is an advantage;
·  You have a good working knowledge of MS Office packages: Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook;
·  Knowledge of SAP and JDA is a big plus;
·  You have a can-do attitude with a pro-active and solution driven approach;
·  You are analytical, service driven and able to balance well between service and costs;
·  You are communicative, with a high energy level and you easily integrate in a dynamic team;
·  You are fluent in Dutch and English
·  You have genuine interest in how the company operates in this area and are keen on keeping track of the latest developments in the world of digitalization.
