Are you ready to work as an Assistant Controller for the South West Europe region? This is a key role for our success. You will support the SWE Controller in the delivery of the function objectives and influences functional and business decisions by:

·  Leading or supporting financial processes to ensure timely and accurate Financial Reporting to the Sector and Western Europe Cluster (Risk and Opps, BSR, pre-close, post-close, Rep letters, etc)
·  Assuring adequate internal control systems are in place for all processes in the BU, supporting strong corporate governance, business ethics practices and PepsiCo Global Control Standards, in collaboration with the ESSA Internal Control CoE.
·  Leading Cash Flow agenda (WC Committee, Sector reporting, etc)

In addition, the SWE Assistant Controller plays a significant role in influencing the strategic direction of the function in areas such as risk management, transformation agenda, business re-design systems and financial strategy (e.g. pensions, insurance, property).

Accountabilities:

·  Responsible for SWE consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting to sector and WESA controller:
·  Pre-close & post close reporting (BAICS, Finantial Reporting letter, Reestructuring, FIFOS, AR ageing, Bonus, Idle assets & assets held for sale, …)
·  Responsible for annual impairment process
·  Leads monthly Risk & Ops identification and reporting
·  Coordinates Balance Sheet Review process and consolidation, including the decks for the SWE GM.
·  He/she leads Cash Flow Agenda:
·  SWE Cash flow forecasting in coordination with Planning Mgr. and provides WC KPI’s and COC variation inputs
·  He/she drives CF agenda trough the quarterly WC committee.
·  Responsible for Iberia Field Audit (includes S.ops audit, DTS audits, distributor audits and year end financial inventory counts). Responsible for Field Audit plan and communication of results and ensuring remediation of failures from sales in coordination with HR
·  Responsible for defining SWE GCS annual plan and annual self assessments per BU in coordination with ESSA Internal control CoE. Coordinates 20+ GCS SME’s across all SWE to ensure a sustainable Full Proportional Ownership model.
·  Act as Process Owner in FR, P2P, I2P and S2C cycles (SAP & Oracle users review, purchase approval matrix SoD, S2C GRC mitigating control and financial inventory counts). The role owns the design, execution, and improvement of a process and the controls.
·  He/she leads projects or outsourcing plans like GFSS; and provides control inputs and ensures proper Risk Assessment and compliance with PepsiCo Policies of all SWE transformation projects and process changes/initiatives.
·  Work with Legal Counsel, Corporate Tax and external advisors, to assess and minimize potential exposures related to legal risk, tax risks or outstanding litigations
·  Coordination of other SWE Control tasks cross functions or across MU’s (Risk Management Survey, simple ESSA reporting, initiatives reporting, insurance, pension plans, asset sale, leases, etc.)
·  People Coaching and Development.- Coach, develop and motivate his team. He/she plays a role in developing talent across all department by providing training and providing insights to SWE Controller.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:

·  University degree (MBA preferred)
·  Fully bilingual (English-local language). English Proficiency level.
·  8+ years of experience in Control / Audit / Finance analysis.
·  Experience in Large-scale International Company
·  Functional expertise in USGAAP Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Audit.
·  Good Knowledge of SAP.
