about the role

Responsible for configuration & scheduling Backups of OS, databases and applications as per stipulated policies at the SDC.
- Responsible for Monitoring of backup jobs, and Ensure adherence to retention policies.
- Responsible for execution of on-demand Backups of volumes, files and database applications
- Responsible for carrying out restoration drills and on- demand restore of Backups
- Responsible for Monitoring, Log maintenance and reporting of backup status on a regular basis as well as Resolution in case of failures in the backup processes.
- Responsible for media Management including, but not limited to, tagging, cross-referencing, storing, logging, testing, and vaulting in fire proof cabinets

HP Backup relared certification / 4+ years of exp/BE/BTech
