Nexans Intercablo is located in Pioltello (Milan – Italy) and is the European leader in the production of cables dedicated to Automation, Wind Turbine, Healthcare and Automotive markets.

The Production Planner is responsible for planning the production orders according to the decisions made within the S&OP and the plant demand plan.

He manages the Master Production Scheduling (MPS), provides “Available To Promise” and delivery lead time to the customers. The candidate will take responsibility of:

Master Production Scheduling Management

· Deploys S&OP forecast by references and by week.
· Creates and proposes every week updated Master Production Schedule according to customers’ requirements and the previous plan results.
· Ensures the plan’s feasibility by identifying capacity, resources, and available inventories.
· Ensures the consistency between the customer’s backlog, forecast, and capacity management.
· Define in cooperation with Production Managers scheduling programs for each department.
· Follows up MPS execution and animates the weekly MPS meeting.
· Participates to the development and follow-up of corrective and improvement actions in order to keep the customer informed.
· Contributes to the S&OP process.

Monitoring of Performance

· Is responsible for the MPS plan’s adherence ratio with the S&OP.
· Ensures the product’s availability on agreed delivery dates.
· Updates resource’s requirement dashboard and production planning according to MPS arbitrations.
· Is responsible for reliability of data used.

Nexans is looking for an young candidate who is Engineer (Management Engineer/others) or Graduated in Economics, with 2-4 years of experience in similar roles. Good Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP PP is a strong plus) is required such as a good knowledge of plant dynamics in a complex production environment. Fluency in English is mandatory.

The perfect candidate is very dynamic, has an analytic mindset and is able to work under pressure.
