In one of the most dynamic plant of Nexans Group, we are looking for a motivated young graduate who will support the controlling department to provide, on timely basis, financial and economic information to the Group, KPI’s and relevant analysis and also support the management with ad hoc analysis. She/he will interact constantly with the accounting department, driving them during the monthly reporting closure and ensuring the deadlines defined by the Group are met. During her/his VIE, she/he can be also involved in the SAP project deployment.
Mission
Prepares entity reporting, ensuring its completeness and timeliness,
Performs cost accounting, inventory valuation and control of flows (financial & operational)
Ensures costs follow-up and control of flows at plant/entity level
Follows-up transversal financial topics including: evolution of indirect costs for the entity, restructuring,...
Defines and coordinates evolutions on systems and processes linked to business or Group new requirements, adapting them to local constraints/environment (with respect to: reporting, internal control, budget & forecast or cost accounting topics)
Roles
Finance Organization Management
Maintains financial processes, master data and systems in line with Nexans processes, procedures & internal control principles
Forecast and planning
Support the preparation of the annual budget and the periodic forecast of the entity and checks consistency
Record to Report
Prepares, consolidates and communicates the global reporting (figures, statistics, KPIs…) for the entity, including all P&Ls by sites/Market lines
Manages transversal administrative and controlling matters at entity level: enquiries, report on entity results, follow-up of restructuring
Provides information regarding finance or organization to external stakeholders
Synthetizes and prepares management reports on entity performance
Establishes and communicates reporting for own entity
Follows up direct and indirect costs (salaries and expenses, hours) of own entity
Internal control
Contributes to internal control on own perimeter
Profile
Master Degree in Finance
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Knowledge of Project Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English and Italian
Other languages would be a plus
