Field Operations Trainer
Location: Toronto

The Field Operations Trainer will support Full Price and/or Outlet stores in the execution and understanding of daily operational procedures as well as support Retail Operations in the identification and development of new procedures. The Field Operations Trainer will use knowledge of operational policies and procedures to train on all existing and new programs. Acts as the liaison between the field and corporate, giving stores direct and precise information to ensure consistency and compliance.
The Field Operations Trainer is responsible for maintaining and achieving high operational standards within the region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
NEW ON-BOARDING
· On-board new Store Managers and employees: communication standards, Sharepoint introduction, and operational expectations
· Ensure completion and understanding of Now Boarding Employee Training Guide
· In-store training and follow up
· Participate in new store openings and new hire trainings
FIELD TRAINING – SYSTEMS
· Motivate and train store teams through on-site orientation and ongoing communication
· Train and develop staff through conference calls and web demos
· Join district calls to communicate operational agendas
· Visit stores and identify training needs
· Maintain understanding of all policies and procedures regarding operations
FIELD COORDINATION AND REPORTING
· Ensure compliance to retail operations agendas
· Uphold back and front of house standards
· Provide feedback to corporate retail team and district managers
· Complete operational store evaluations
STORE MAINTENANCE
· Oversee and ensure cleanliness is maintained on sales floor and back of house
· Oversee and ensure overall store maintenance is maintained on sales floor and back of house
· Follow up on open and closed work orders in Fexa (store maintenance platform)
INVENTORY CONTROL + LOSS PREVENTION
· Provide necessary inventory management and loss prevention training to store employees
· Help maintain a positive company shrink percentage
· Complete loss prevention audits when required (CAMS reporting)
· Follow up and train on opportunities documented by the loss prevention department
· Help manage in store Tier Programs
WORK EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years retail management experience
· Proficient knowledge of computer applications; ex: Excel, Word, and Power Point
