Position Overview:

The E-Commerce Business Analyst at Michael Kors will be responsible for monitoring all day-to-day operations within the Michael Kors E-Commerce platform. The E-Commerce Business Analyst will interact with developers, release managers, application engineering and system administrators and all third-party vendors to maintain a strong support team and quality production environment.

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   

·  Provides the e-Commerce Division with product management support in the ideation, submission, delivery, and enhancement of the product roadmap globally.  
·  Facilitates Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Demos).
·  Owns the health and wellness of Scrum Artifacts (Sprint Backlog, Product Backlog, and Product Increment).
·  Works cross-functionally with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Technology team to design and specify large complex business solutions.
·  Ensures that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by Scrum Team.
·  Works with the Product Owner to understand the business priorities and items to be groomed in upcoming sprints.
·  Fosters an environment of successful delivery and continuous improvement.
·  Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
·  Identifies, escalates, and removes team impediments that jeopardize sprint goals.
·  Develop a good understanding of the business unit's function and effectively communicate technical issues in non-technical terms to the business unit.

Qualifications:   

·  4+ years of Business Analyst experience in e-Commerce business practice area. Retail is a plus.
·  1+ year of Scrum Master experience on a cross-functional team in a medium to large organization.
·  Ability to distill complex concepts and business needs into prioritized, implementable value-based components.
·  Ability to convert business / functional requirements into logical business rules and functional requirements.
·  Knowledge and / or experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, Story Pointing, Backlog Tracking, Burndown Metrics, Velocity etc.
·  Knowledge and experience of business analysis tools such as Domain Modeling, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Business Rules / Logic, UML, User Stories, etc.
·  Candidate should be able to apply specific knowledge of the business and knowledge of systems technology capabilities to business problem solving.
·  Knowledge and experience of major integration points between an e-Commerce application with Order Management, Warehouse Management, Financial and Retail Systems.
·  Experience in launching and / or supporting a Global e-Commerce platform.
·  Experience with ATG e-Commerce platform, order management systems, and CMS platforms is desirable.
·  Excellent communication and analytical skills.
·  Must have strong written skills, with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas.   
·  Formal business analysis process and methodology.
·  Proven ability to manage cross-functional team.    
·  Should have good interpersonal skills to deal with user community and vendors.   
·  Extremely organized, diligent, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
·  Must have a clear vision of a projects objectives and be able to maintain a long term view.
·  Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects / release concurrently.
·  Must be willing to travel.
