Validation Engineer R&D (M/F)

Your role :

 

As R&D validation engineer, attached to a project technical leaders' team, you prepare and lead verification and validation activities of new single-use bioprocessing equipment (cell culture, purification and filtration) for the pharmaceutical industry, from design phase to industrialization phase.

You develop the validation strategy and methods, you execute and coordinate internal and external testing activities, locally and globally, and write documentation protocols and reports. You follow the internal new products development process to bring to market efficient and robust products that meet functional specifications, quality and regulatory requirements. You bring also your technical expertise to support R&D activities upstream of the validation phase.

The job position is in Molsheim (67) within France R&D Single Use Systems. Few travels abroad are to be expected.

 

Who you are:

 

·  Master of Science or Engineering Degree, with at least 5 years' experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment.
·  Experience in verification and validation of automated systems in a pharmaceutical environment very highly wished.
·  Good understanding of mechanical/electrical/single-use plastic parts design to develop relevant verification and validation methods.
·  Rigor, analytical and synthesis mind, curiosity and teamwork.
·  Writing and interpersonal skills.
·  Fluent English (written and spoken)
