Strategy & Market Intelligence Analyst

Your Role: The Analyst actively partners with Strategy & Market Intelligence (S&MI) consultants and Process Solutions business leaders to identify, develop, align, and analyze data to provide meaningful and insightful views on our market and sales.  Through a highly collaborative approach, the Analyst informs the business leadership with their fact-based understanding of the market, advises those leaders on insights to the market and influences critical business strategies and decisions.  The analysis and insights produced by the Analyst will be critical to informing product portfolios, investment decisions, near term and long-term strategies.  This is a role with high visibility to senior management and excellent career advancement opportunities.

·  Identifying, sourcing, developing, and presenting market (and internal) data to assess markets and initiatives
·  Integrating disparate data sources (internal and external) to create a view on markets
·  Analyzing data utilizing and developing tools to drive new perspectives and insights
·  Developing and maintaining dashboards to communicate data to stakeholders (e.g., Tableau based dashboards)
·  Establishing monitoring and reporting protocols based upon market movements
·  Ability to work with primary and secondary data sources and integrate into meaningful insights
·  Engage, mentor and challenge team members
·  Integrate tools and best practices into function
·  Build scalable capabilities in the business
·  Support onboarding of new Market Intelligence team members

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  BS Degree with 3+ years, Master’s Degree
·  Intellectually curious with a bias for action
·  Influences without authority and drives actionable results
·  Deeply analytical with quantitative and qualitative data – framing and conducting analysis, market modeling
·  Effectively engage team members across various levels
·  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
·  Strong communication skills – data visualization, presentation creation
·  Openness to fresh ideas and new perspectives
·  Comfortable in fluid environment and navigating through ambiguity
·  Highly proficient in MS Office
·  Proficiency with advanced data analytics and data visualization, e.g., Tableau
·  Domestic and international travel ~ 10%
·  Fluent spoken and written English; additional language fluency a plus 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  B.A. or B.S. degree in economics, engineering, biology, statistics or another technical field
·  Advanced degree in a quantitative field (MBA, Masters or PhD)
·  5+ years of relevant, professional experience, ideally within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or Chemicals markets
·  Background in Market Intelligence, Data Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, and/ or Consulting experience
·  Experienced in global organization working with highly technical team members
