Safety Officer

Your Role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the company as Safety Officer. In coordination with EHSQ Team, you implement and maintain robust OHS Management System and risk management in the Site, and also developing the OH&S policies and programs. You ensure all site processes and activities that are done both by internal or external (contractor) are in compliance with local law/regulation and the  organization's  standard related to Occupational Health & Safety.

 

Your Responsibilities:

·  Together with the EHSQ team will develop OHS policies & programs.
·  Ensure robust OHS Management System implementation in site.
·  Ensure sustainable implementation of the OHS risk management process throughout site and execution of risk mitigation action.
·  Conduct robust contractor safety management to all contractors and vendors working in site.
·  Develop and maintain reliable Emergency response procedures and preparedness.
·  Initiate and organize OHS training management for all employee.
·  Assist company on EHS Management of Change (MoC) process for all changes impacting OHS in site.
·  Assist department in performing sufficient incident investigation and EHS problem-solving.
·  Proactively involved in EHS culture programs and initiatives.
·  Prepare required reports related to OHS implementation to internal/external parties.

 

Who you are

·  Having a minimum of 2 years as Safety Officer or similar position, experience in Health & Safety Management in Pharmaceutical manufacturing would be an advantage.
·  Having Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
·  Certified with AK3U (Ahli K3 Umum) and ISO 45001 internal auditor certification.
·  In-depth knowledge of regulations and standards related to OHS.
·  Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics to shop floor and senior management.
·  Fluent in English is must.
