Here at Royal Canin, we have a great opportunity for a FP&A Analyst to join the Royal Canin Finance team based in Melbourne on a 6-month contract. Whilst this is a temporary opportunity, there may be an opportunity for this role to become permanent.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role in partnering the business across all aspects of Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP+) and Reporting enabling timely decision making for the business.

You will manage the period Reporting process, create and present the financial analysis that is necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions. This includes all financial packages to track trends and performance of key business metrics, and periodic regional reporting requirements including period results analysis.

What would be your key responsibilities?
• Manage periodic reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders
• Manage the periodic S&OP+ financial Shaping Process, co-piloting the finance team and business to drive accurate reporting of the businesses financial position including risks, opportunities and gap closing requirements.
• Manage the annual Financial Shaping Process for Target setting
• Partner the business on all fixed costs inclusive of overheads, advertising & promotional spend and Display
• Establish strong working relationships with the Regional and Global teams and ensure timely and accurate responses to regional requirements

What are we looking for?
• Experience in a public practice accounting role or from a commercial environment
• Solid experience in reporting, planning, S&OP with a high attention to detail
• Excellent ability to establish great working relationships in a collaborative manner
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA/CA or working towards is preferable
