With 18 F&B outlets across the complex, we have the most dynamic and driven Food and Beverage teams, working towards creating exceptional experiences for our guests. With each F&B concept uniquely positioned, the scope for learnings in both Service and Culinary sections is immense. In the 6 months of Internship, you would be working alongside and supporting a diverse team of experienced professionals from over 50 countries, giving you a good peek into the exciting journey that lies ahead with Marriott Hotels, at the same time learning from the best in the industry.

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

· Manages all day-to-day operations of the allocated outlet and is able to perform tasks without supervision

· Ensure exceptional customer experience by providing services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction.

· Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality and standards as defined by the SOP.

· Provides immediate assistance to guests as required.

· Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints as and when possible, or report to the supervisor.

· Maintains high visibility in public areas during peak times.

· Ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.

· Setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization and cleanliness.

· Monitor outlets for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.

· Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.

· Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

· Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

· Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

· Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To move into this position you should meet the following requirements:

· Should be a student pursuing Hospitality Management, or a recent graduate looking for industry exposure.

· Basic food handling and service skills and knowledge is mandatory

· Excellent hospitality skills and willingness to exhibit genuine care at all times

· Is a good team player and adaptable to situations which require thinking on the feet

· A keen eye for detail and streak of creativity is appreciated

· An enthusiastic approach towards the tasks allotted and learning on the job in general

· Is flexible with working hours and willing to go extra mile when required during busy schedule

· Has good communication, is fluent in English and displays acceptable interpersonal skills.

· Be professional at all times and act with integrity in all aspect of work

· Should be medically fit as per approved certificate to perform designated tasks.
