Our M&S Stores & Property Team are looking for HR Store Partners to unlock the power of our colleagues, working closely with our stores where particular attention is required to help implement and embed people process and practice and drive cultural change.

About the role

Your key accountabilities will include:

·  Working proactively with the HR Head of Division and HRBPs to identify risk stores around HR practice, policy and process and uses a broad range of skills to implement a specific, robust change plan.
·  Develops strong coaching relationships with store management teams, establishing credibility quickly and gaining a reputation as a trusted advisor with sound working knowledge of the change context.
·  Engages with key stakeholders, on progress and evaluates delivery of key milestones, escalating risks to ensure mitigating action is taken as appropriate.
·  Ensures the colleague voice in store is heard and acted upon to ensure people practice is delivered in a way that is right for both the business and colleagues.
·  Supports the use of our internal HR support centre ‘Colleague Services’ and uses their knowledge of store operations to work collaboratively with the HR Centres of Expertise to ensure our tools and processes are fit for purpose.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

·  Good knowledge of HR practice and employment legislation
·  Sound commercial acumen and understands the operational levers which drive success in an organisation
·  Confident and can influence the levers to effectively deliver performance through managers and colleagues
·  Strong analytical skills to use data to identify trends and drive corrective action
·  Ability to work at pace and with agility
·  Strong coaching skills and evidence of providing appropriate level of challenge and accountability
·  An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels
