Job description

Liebherr Machines Bulle SA is the centre of excellence for combustion engines (diesel and gas engines) and hydraulic components. The company develops and produces various products which are used in the fields of building construction and civil engineering, mining, agriculture, decentralised energy, machine and plant engineering, as well as aerospace.

Responsibilities

· Global sourcing of potential suppliers
· Initial contact with suppliers and participation in the selection and qualification of new suppliers
· Development of purchasing and supplier strategies
· Supplier monitoring (strategic consideration of new projects)
· Negotiation of prices and contracts
· Collaboration in internal and Liebherr-wide purchasing projects and general purchasing activities
· Development and monitoring of supplier risk analyses
· Participation in supplier audits, process approvals and collaboration in supplier development

Requirements

· Successfully completed technical training or degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar field
· Technical and economic understanding as well as high affinity for the purchasing sector
· Professional experience in various areas of strategic purchasing in similar industries (mechanical engineering, automotive, offroad)
· Good knowledge of German, English and French
· Good knowledge of MS-Office and an ERP system
· Ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, reliability
