Position Summary – Entry Level Leadership Roles. Logistics

This role is designed as a developmental role to help prepare individuals for a career and pathway in logistics leadership. Individuals with a passion for supply chain and logistics and a willingness to learn, to be curious, and to have a great attitude should consider this opportunity. This role can lead to other opportunities in operations leadership as well as other supply chain functions with our business. This role will help an individual become a front line leader with the ability to lead a team, have crucial conversations, and navigate through department situations.

Job Responsibilities
• Assists Supervisor in planning and organizing department goals by understanding priorities and
takes a proactive approach to the flow of work and managing hours in department
• Effectively communicates with Supervisor and Associates both orally and in writing
• Partners with Supervisor to assist Associates in building a team environment through strong floor
performance and maintains a positive professional behavior at all times
• Possesses common knowledge of all DC systems, ensuring Associates follow procedures and
provides performance feedback to Supervisor
• Key person in coordinating the training of current and new hire Associates 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:
– 0-2 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
– Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills / organizational skills
– Exceptional attendance and performance record and ability to maintain those standards
– Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
– Effective verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and interact with associates, peers and leaders in a constructive manner
– Knowledge of DC operations is preferred
