KPMG Luxembourg is looking for forward-thinking and passionate people to make a difference to our clients, people and communities : Event Coordinator in our Marketing Department (m/f) as from February 2020

The Event Coordinator supports the Events team in the design, organization and implementation of events and sponsorships that promote KPMG's reputation and business opportunities in the market.

The Event Coordinator must have a natural service-oriented mindset, enjoy and excel in interacting with people from different backgrounds, have an ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure, be active listener and have outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking outstanding individuals who will enhance a team committed to be the market leader by size and reputation

As Event Coordinator, you will:

·  Project managing events, including communicating efficiently with stakeholders and the Event Operations Manager and Team Leader
·  Adhering to existing policies and procedures
·  Researching speakers, promotional items, locations and decorations
·  Drafting invitations and reviewing for accuracy and quality
·  Reviewing conference presentations for accuracy and quality
·  Creating and printing name labels for lanyards
·  Attending events and greeting guests
·  Ensures outstanding client experience during events, seeking feedback from clients and integrating best practices by evaluating events (KPIs) and making suggestions for continuous improvement
Managing the stock of KPMG promotional items and conference materials

·  Keeping an itemized list of all items available
·  Responding to requests for promotional items in a timely manner
·  Researching new, innovative promotional items in line with KPMG policy

The perfect candidate

·  Preferably a marketing degree, communication, events or hotel management/hospitality business degrees.
·  Other working experience in or alternative studies related client service and event/project management can be also relevant for this job
·  A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required
·  Fluency in English is mandatory, any other language is an asset
·  Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
·  Basic knowledge in graphics design software (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator) basic HTML and CRM system Vuture is a plus, but not required
·  Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Social Media
